Littleton Fire Rescue, Bradford Auto Body in Downtown
Littleton and Broadway Estates Conoco on South Broadway Boulevard (south of
Caley) are wonderful partners with the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop and they will
be collecting toys and gifts, including: new and gently-used toys for
kids 0 – 12, games, books, bikes, helmets, etc., from Monday, November
16th – Tuesday, December 8th, 2009. The
Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that has
been gathering toys and making the holidays special for kids since 1958!
The toys are given to low-income parents/guardians for their children ages 0
– 12 years who reside in Littleton, Englewood or Sheridan,
Colorado. Families are referred to the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop through
local schools, churches and service agencies.
If you’d like to help, please stop by any of the eight
Littleton Fire Rescue locations, Bradford Auto Body or Broadway Estates Conoco
(addresses listed below) with new or near-new toys or donations. You can
also make a monetary donation and send it to the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop,
P.O. Box 2004, Littleton, CO 80161-2004. The Shop is totally funded by
donations, with 96% of cash donations being used to purchase new toys at local
stores.
